I was trying to use version 1.0.0.33 today for my new Sony A7 IV (which was not supported yet but someone on FB group said he was able to get it to work) after changing the camera driver in the device manager from libusbK to MTP USB Device following steps on this page. Could be worth a check.Įdited by RyanParle, 22 October 2021 - 11:32 AM. I have spent a few minutes looking through the menu on my camera and found that APS-C size capture was enabled, turning this to off has resolved the issue. I did manage to get it to download an image if I change the Target Application to APT and the Image Output Format to RGB (Processed) however the image is all messed up due to MaximDL expecting the image in RAW format. I don't get the error message, it will just sit there forever with the download progress bar full but no image appears. This is similar to the behaviour I have found when I tested this driver with my ILCE-7S camera with MaximDL software. Why did it work so well the first time and now it cannot complete a run? NINA will still connect to the camera, shutter still works, but no pic is saved. I have to shut it down hard with a hard turn it off. Now when I rerun the Diagnostics Tool, and try to connect it just runs and runs. I then disconnected everything and shutdown all the software. Ran the same test shutter goes, still no pic. I then went back into the Diagnostics tool to select "Save Raw Captures". I got the error below from NINA:Ĭamera Timeout: Camera did not set image as ready after Exposure Time +60 seconds. NINA was able to control the shutter, but the picture did not down load on the PC or in the cards. I then connected to NINA, again no issues. First time around, I did not select any options called out in the installation Read Me, and it connected no issues. I set up for the first time using the “Chose Device” option in ASCOM Diagnostics tool. Anyone have advise on the issue of timing out ASCOM and no pic saved:
